I'm not lucky enough to have an X2 of my own yet, but my uncle recently got one and he is having problems with it. It's the X2 4400+ and he says when he plays Road to Rome the game will like skip forward moving faster and faster as the game goes.

Also, when capturing video, he says the audio and video get out of sync. Has anyone else experience anything like this?

A lot of people have had this problem. It gets fixed by disabling one processor while the game is running (gta has same prob)

Wow...I'm surprised that it's actually CPU related. Before reading that I would have thought that it was a result of spyware/malware...I've had audio sync problems before that were related to spyware.

is there a simple way to disable one processor while the game is running? Or do you have to go to the bios?

I've never had a dual-core or dual-CPU system, but generally speaking it's possible to control which hardware devices are used and which ones aren't by going to Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> System -> Hardware -> Device Manager

...it theory you should be able to see two CPU's in the list, and disable one of them, but like I said I'm not sure.
