A question for the mods

Hmm, if I remember correctly about a week ago I had originated a thread that was then locked the next day. I'm not exactly sure why this happened. To the best of my knowledge the thread was in the proper section of the forums (General Hardware I think). I was just wondering, who locks threads? Why do they do it?

The mods lock the threads, and it's usually because of a variety of reasons. It could be off topic, vulgar, asking for illegal information, etc. What was the question dealing with, that might help to figure out why it was locked?

Edit, I just did a search for threads posted by your username and aren't seeing any. Was it deleted?
