a question for the chemists

Friend of mine had superglue put into his door locks last night, i reccomended acetone (i remember ATOT people saying that acetone dissolves super glue)

He asked if the stuff will harm the clear coat on his paint....

So....will it?

Now that's classic! Karma must be kickin' in....
As for the acetone, sure, go for it. If that doesn't work I suggest muriatic acid.

 

what is muriatic acid found in? or where can one obtain it?
