A question for Canadians and New Englanders: Is five-pin, candlepin, and/or duckpin bowling any fun?

Yeah...candelpin is actually pretty fun. Growing up in NE, I always thought that was how bowling was everywhere...lol.

same here. I was amazed the first time I went 10-pin bowling 😉

Candlepin is wicked pissa fun 😛

It's also great for young kids, because like some members in P&N, it requires little balls.

Especially for kids.

The balls are small enough that they can control them and see the results.

Candlepin is fun - haven't found any candlepin alleys around here...IIRC, that's all I had access to in NH. 😛

Candlepin seems to be unique to NE. It is a ton of fun. My friends and I went candlepin bowling in NH a couple of years ago on a research project trip and we had a blast. It's harder than it looks!
