A question for bf1942 users. When I try to go cutsom game and use a mod, bf1942 closes.

I just installed bf1942, and I use a no cd crack but it didnt acutally change the .exe, so it runs fine getting into the game and I hate looking around for my cd's all the time. When I tried to go custom game --> desert combat 0.25c (this is a mod) the screen goes black for a second like it does in between maps, before it shows the loading screen, and then it goes back to my desktop and closes the instance of bf1942. Any suggestions on what I can do? I've upgraded to 1.31, and the most recent version of DC.

It likely is the no-cd patch. Did you try running the game without it? I'd uninstall/re-install(without using the no-cd patch) just to check it out.
