Ahhh... ATOT - where I go to get all my qustions answered.

My Christian small group and I are looking for volunterring opportunities in Chicago... Any suggestions? All I've explored is to go to soup kitchens or other places where we can serve the poor. Are there any ideas?

What you think would be other excellent ways of impacting the community? ideas? Comments?

We used to volunteer alot of our time to the soup kitchen in my town. Found out that it wasn't doing anything but feeding people that could care less. People that were down on their luck didn't stop by. We only served the bums that didn't care. We stopped doing that and actually applied ourselves to big brothers and to the NICU at one of the local hospitals as a baby holders. Talk about rewarding for both givers and receivers.
