Hi folks,
So I've got an SSD on the way, and I'm going to transfer my W7 install to it. Since I just installed it a few weeks ago, I'd rather not do a reinstall.
I've successfully done this via cloning the HD before, but this time I didn't know about the "System Reserved" thing, so W7 created that partition when I installed. My question is, if I just clone the main partition, and then repair via the install disk, will that work? I know that the boot information is on the SR partition, but I'm hoping that I can get rid of that and restore the boot information via the repair.
Thanks!
