A question about the phrase "Who pissed in your cheerios?"

Did it ever occur to you that cheerios represent happiness, i.e., CHEERios? Or would "Who pissed in your cereal?" be just as effective? Do you think the phrase is popular due to this word play or just because having someone piss in your cereal isn't cool?

I never put the happy in CHEERios. That phrase makes much more sense now... It's like a bright light shown down from heaven as I read that.

it has nothing to do with the cheer in cheerios. it's just that at the time the phrase was made, cheerios was the most popular cereal. "who pissed in your cereal" would have been just as effective. i've heard, "who pissed in your corn flakes".

I prefer the expression, "who shit in your corn flakes".

Or 'Which two fatties had nasty sweaty lesbian sex all over your super important brunch meeting'

If the answer is 'yes of course!' a good alternative is:

Does the pope shit in the woods?

I don't know what that has to do with anything...

I occasionally substitute the name of some other cereal in place of Cheerios.
