Does the Albatron PX915P4C Pro support the Intel P4 3.4C Northwood 800MHz FSB Socket 478 Processor Model BX80532PG3400D?

Thank You all for any help provided :).

Sincerely,

Garrett

It supports my 2.4C northwood just fine, so I assume it will support all northwoods. The site only says Prescott, but since mine works, I assume yours will, too. It also says it will support the 3.4E, so I know it will support that frequency.

And its a good overclocker, too, but it doesn't have a SATA lock (at least that I could find). So, OCing through the BIOS for me has been limited to 240FSB, when I hit 241 it drops my SATA hard drive, but if you have an IDE HD it works ok (at least it booted knoppix off my IDE DVD burner), although it only has one IDE port. Albatron has a nice app called Dr. Speed that overclocks within Windows, so I haven't been too limited, I just have to OC it every time. Just note that you have to download it off the site, it doesn't ship on the CD.

Actually, I like the board a lot. The only things it's missing that I wish were there are gigabit ethernet and a second IDE port, but it hasn't limited me too much.

Phew, thank you very much for the information Alizee :~). The board arrives Monday, and I was worried after reading the CPU support list. Thank for the OC info also :)

Sincerely,

Garrett

I think I'm glad I didn't check the supported list before I bought it, saves me the worrying. ;) Funny, though, I'm usually a better shopper than that, I usually like to know everything about a produuct before I buy it. Turned out well, so there :p
