A question about SLI in a weird setup

I currently have one GTX 680 driving three monitors on one "Surround" screen at 4800x2560 and a GTX 650Ti driving two side monitors. I'm thinking about adding in a second GTX 680 in SLI mode.

I have a few questions:

-Would it be possible to keep my same configuration with the SLIed 680s driving the 4800x2560 Surround display and the 650 driving the other two?
-How does SLI affect CUDA? Will it run normally with (roughly) twice the performance?
-I can mix vendors, correct?

Thanks

Most people would dedicate the GTX 650 Ti to PhysX and run all displays off the 680's.

Yes you can definitely mix vendors but for best results you should try to keep close to same specs. Inside they are just Nvidia chips.

To be honest I do not know if you can keep 2 monitors on GTX 650 Ti with separate GTX 680 SLI running monitors independently. You can give it a shot, it should not hurt to try. But please do give some thought to just running all monitors off 680's and dedicating 650 Ti to PhysX because I really feel that it would work out best for you.

I thought you couldn't run more than three monitors off of an SLI setup?

You can run 4 monitors on SLI surround, but the 4th one is an auxilary display that has no acceleration. Three monitors (or one) can be given the full accelerated effects for games. So to run 5 monitors you do need another card. I am told it does work and was pointed at the NVidia website for proof so I am fairly confident you can have multiple cards alongside SLI.
