A question about policy on Visa cards.

I currently have a visa card and was contemplating buying an Easton Synergy hockey stick ($240 Canadian) what scares me most is the stick breaking after hte 30 day manufacturer warranty...luckily I have 1 year damage protection on anything I buy on my visa card.

2 Questions

1) Does that protection extend to stuff like hockey sticks? I've heard there's a certain amount of times you can use the stick before the coverage is gone, but how do they know?

and also

2) If I bought the synergy off ebay for cheaper - and then it broke, but the bill on my visa card was for Paypal although I sent the money from a paypal account for the stick would I be ablet o get it replaced? Of course I'd have some simple receipt created by the seller to prove the price of the product, but it wouldn't be an incorporation company, probabl yjust someone selling from their house.
