A question about overclocking

Basically, I have a 2400+ Athlon XP. I was thinking, if I were to increase the fsb but not increase the clock speed, could this be just as damaging as regular overclocking, and would I need to increase the vcore, etc? I don't want any comments that overclocking isn't damaging, just want answers.
 
It shouldn't damage anything. just up the FSB and lower the multi. U shouldn't have to up the vcore. It is possible u will have to up the vdim but ssince u already have PC2700 u shouldn't have to do that either.
