I just found out from PC 2, its Connection type is Unknown and IP Address Allocation is Static IP. I don't know why is that. How to change it as same as PC 1? thanks.

This is my network detail shown from my router:

PC 1:
Connection type: Ethernet
IP address 192.168.1.47
IP Address Allocation: DHCP

PC 2:
Connection type: Unknown
IP address 192.168.1.46
IP Address Allocation: Static IP

And Sometime PC 2 's IP address is 192.168.1.42. how come it is 42?

Each computer on the Network needs its own number.

The first three parts is are unique to the network 192.168.1.x

The x is different for each computer.

Whether the Router's DHCP gives always the same IP to each computer is up to the Router. Some Routers do IP reservation and keep the same number.

If your Router does not do it and you need the number to be always the same, use a static IP that is out of the DHCP range.
