hi,
Have a simple question. If a processor is not listed or recommended for a motherboard, what will happen when put them together? For example, if I have a EPOX EP-8KHA Rev 1.1, which is not support 1.4G(266)(epox cpu recommondation list). And I have a 1.4G(266) cpu. What should I do? Update the BIOS? Don't know what is the difference between EP8KHA Rev1.1 and Rev1.3.
Thanks.

easy to get confused

just cause its not on the list of supported/recommended cpu's doesnt mean it wont work and work perfectly
all it means is epox hasnt fully tested it, or they are just slow/lazy in updating the info on their web page

8k7a was the same way, it didnt list several of the amd tbirds, but they all work perfectly
