A question about iPhones

I'm going out for dinner tonight with my sister, who has an iPhone. I have a Windows phone that has a data SIMM, also a few Android phones with no data (as of yet). I have various flash drive. I want to get her an MP3 that's about 54MB, a 1/2 hour recording of broadcast FM. I was thinking of burning a CD-R with that MP3 file. She's not extremely computer literate (about mediu), uses a Mac at home. Her companion is a Mac person who does a lot of the technical thinking for my sister.

OK, so I'm wondering if (at the restaurant!) I can transfer that MP3 file to my sister's phone. Or should I just hand her the CD-R and hope she cares enough to figure it out? I assume she can listen to MP3 files on her phone using headphones of some kind. Thanks for tips, ideas etc.
