A question about "Backing up" in IE 5.5

I'm trying to see if it's just something funky in my setup, and if yes how to fix it:
Every time I read a thread or just go to a forum area if I want to click on "Back to" it starts loading some ad server link "connetc.247media.ads.link4ads.com". It takes me 3-4 clicks to back out from a thread into an area. It does not happen at work machine which has IE5.1
