Hi Guys/Gals
OK, don't laugh to hard at this question <hehehe> but what is a firewire ? I just ordered the Asus VIA A7V333 and it comes with firewire.

FireWire is a high-speed connectivity port on a PC and/or device. It's comparable to USB. FireWire is 400Mbps while USB 1.1 is 12Mbps and USB 2.0 is 480Mbps. FireWire was created by the Apple Company.

It's used to connect portable devices such as harddrives, CDRWs, and can even be used as a form of networking medium.
