A question about 2 anti virus programs

I have avast and avast comes standard with a email scanner p2p scanner and other network protections like if a picture on a website had so thing in it which avast will alert me of will antivir protect me on all the things avast does?

Antivir will stop the malware from executing, but does not scan incoming files.

so which one will you prefer and which viruse protector do you use

I'd choose Antivir cause it has the best dection rate.

Just use some common sense when opening up the e-mails and not downloading whats in them.
