I have newly bought this motherbord, and an Athlon64 3200+ CPU. I put everything together, but when I booted up the system, nothing is displayed.

I have only 1 stick of 1GB memory in one of the 4 memory slots. Is Dual Channel a "MUST" for this mother board? Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Well, it could be a lot of things. I doubt it's the ram.

Check these things:

-motherboard standoffs installed between case and mobo
-PSU 20 pin and the completely separate 4 pin line are both plugged in the board
-cpu seated properly and the cpu fan plug is plugged in
-all cards and drives are plugged to the PSU
-ram, videocard, IDE cables, all plugged in snugly
-stick of ram plugged in the closest slot to the CPU
-CMOS has been reset
-little plugs for the case-- pwr button, lights, etc are in the right spots
