I prefer the mom and pop shops, but in a crunch (or if it's a monday and all other pizza places are closed) i will go to Domino's , i'll never buy anything from Pizza Hut, i find their pizza greasy and terrible..LC maybe if i just want to grab a hot'n ready but that's maybe once every couple of years, it gives me heartburn every time. I just counted because i'm curious, we have about 18 different pizza places for a town of 50k , that seems like a lot.
Pizza Hut makes pizzas in the same vein that Taco Bell makes Mexican food. Which means a lot of Americans dig both lol.

I do not like dominos pizza. I'll eat it if offered, but I'd never buy it on my own accord. I'll just get something altogether different if that's one of the choices. I also don't like papajohns much anymore. I used to think it was a pretty decent pizza, but either it changed, or I did. I would consider buying that on my own, but it wouldn't be my first choice. I'd have to really want a pizza to go there.
I completely agree on Papa John's, I liked it in highschool, and ate a ton of it in college because they gave school groups a really good discount. But since college I've thought it was terrible. I assume it changed.

Dominos, Little Caesers and PJ I'll eat if provided, but I'd never buy it myself.
