Ok iv got a laptop but it doesnt have any of those convenient hotkeys for media, the play, stop, pause skip buttons.

i use winamp now to listen to music.

I usually listen to music while i game and in order to pause a song i have to minimize the game and press pause.

Is there a prog or a media player thatll let me pause a song during a game by pressing shift p, or F4 or something?

the current v. of winamp has this built in. look in it's options, there's soimething called global hotkeys. turn it on and you can customize the key combinations.

yes i no i saw those, the problem is they dont work when im playing a game, they only work when i have in winamp selected. Which defeats my purpose for them.

Do you know if this other prog will allow me to use hotkeys while gaming?

The whole purpose of Global hotkeys is to be able to change controls while Winamp isn't the focus. My Winamp global keys work great whether I'm browsing the web or playing a game.

Are these hotkeys the prog built into winamp, or an add on prog like the one posted above??
