A problem on TTT DVD? or just my Copy? or is it my software?

When changing from Ch. 10 to Ch. 11, the changing of scenes seems to be rough and choppy and you can very easily tell that the disc has just changed chapters.

This happened one other time but I dont remember the chapter. This happens every single time at this particular chapter change.

I'm using WinDVD Platinum 5.1

Mine was choppy during at least one chapter change-- i cant remember if it was 10-11 or somewhere else during the movie.

I can't be positive that it's not, but I know that it happened in one other chapter (before ch. 10) as well, so I'm thinking that it's not the layer change.

My friend had that too, he exchanged it for a new one and it worked fine.

I've run into that a few times at layer changes. My inlaw's Sony 100 disc changer can't handle it at all. It crashes if the layer change isn't smooth as silk. He had to exchange The Mask 4 times to get one that his player liked. :| Crappy Sony...

I hate bad layer changes...are they usually the disc's fault or the player's fault? I have Sony, Cyberhome and Panasonic players and all 3 have noticeable layer changes (sound cuts off for a few milliseconds, picture pauses.) I don't notice layer changes as much when watching a DVD on my PC though...

I haven't heard anything about going from Chapter 10 to 11 but there have been reports skipping during Chapter 51.
