A Pro Rig?

Guys, if one was going to use a rig to make a very realistic game, what components would you use?
I have TIger MP and 2 XP 1600s. But what else now? Money is limited, so high performance low price is good.

I think this thread is more approriate for general hardware.... I was under the impression that to produce a very realistic game, one would require networked computers and professional graphics cards. Unless you mean in terms of physics, which I am unsure about. Wait for more posts.

Geforce 3 TI200, they're cheap and are basically the same thing as the TI500's everyone lusts after... They learn how to program DX 8.1 for that chip and there you have it... You don't really need MP for a programming workstation, you can't make compiling code paralell, you can only make things where it doesn't matter what finishes first parallel. But I guess if you already have that then whatever...

Bah..... Crays 0wnZ j00 😉

Try buying all the surplus Crays from Square... or even better, WETA although I think they might still need theirs for a while. I reckon you could get it down to a cool $200 million if you haggle well.
