A possible figure out of how DPC is kicking TA's butt.

That is NOT the DPC's. Dnet is aware of the trojan and has published the information already.

Interesting, the Japan Linux Users Group got first in yesterday's dailies beating even the DPCs. I haven't been doing RC5 for long and was wondering whether this sort of thing had happened before. Was it a megaflush?

Yes they have. Mega flushes are kinda cool but aren't really a smart thing to do. Anyway Dnet doesn't like them.🙂

When the Dutch Power Cows did their last Mega Flush (MF6), they managed to recruit upwards of 600 daily team members. Not to mention, they are recruiting more then we are now also.. They now have over 1,400+ daily members (1,453 yesterday to be exact), compaired to our (TA) 650 (646 active yesterday).. Since that last flush, and our more recent attempts at recruiting, TA/AT has picked up about 40 active daily members.

DPC are doing, on average 1,594.53 blocks per member. (according to yesterdays stats run)
TA is doing, on average .2,139.72😀 blocks per member. (according to yesterdays stats run)

We need to recruit. If we had 1453 active members, we would do 3,109,010 blocks per day, which is 792,178 blocks more then DPC!! 😀 😀 😀

They were doing around 3 million aday for about 6-7 days.. They wanted to do somthing like two or three days of like 6 million, but D.net frowns on that, their servers cant handle that kind of load.. I've noticed, they can barely handle the rate were doing today.. They are awfully slow..

Mmm...

1453 = the end of the Hundred Years War between France and England & Burgundy

1453 = the fall of Constantinople and the end of the Roman Empire.

Bad number to see on a Friday the 13th.

dennilfloss, the scary thing is that you knew that.😉

BTW it seems you've been a big addition to the RC5 team thanks to your assimilation abilities. I bet they wish they could have dragged you in here sooner.🙂

You guys mention the #1453 on Friday the 13th and I'll be darned...The Japanese Linux Team knocked the DPC from the daily #1 spot....Sometimes the fall is hard...🙂

It had to be..
After 64 days on the number 1 position there was a team who knocked us of the number one spot. The biggest suprise for all of us was, it wasn't TA but some small team who were saving up their blocks since July!!!!!
The positive thing for us DPC'ers is the difference with TA. You slowly climbed up to 1.5M but today the difference was 1M again.
Life is sweet, life is bitter -> LETS DRINK CAMPARI TODAY! 🙂

that eastern empire was bound to fall... they were having trouble with the balks, let the turks go around constantinople into the balkans so that they could have the two exhaust each other, but then the turks whipped the balks. battle of kosovo was right around that time. a german historian writing in the 50s talked about how hard it was for anyone to move an army through illysia (yugoslavia) in antiquity (romans didn't do it until around 50BC and got most of their army killed in the process) and has a very large footnote relating his experience in yugoslavia during world war 2.

don't mind me, i'm hung over.
