Mountains give you a real sense of adventure!!!!

Which one should get the headline and which one actually does are different answers, unfortunately.

Following that logic, I voted incorrectly :(

Depends on where you live. If one is local then that one will probably get headlines.

Wait, one of the stories had a dog? That one will win.

I think he's commenting on how sites like CNN are showing the 3 climbers stuck as their main news story where the train explosion is getting limited coverage.

Personally, I could care less which one I see with the huge picture on CNN.

This thread is slightly biased, it's more like 66 foreigners hit by a terrorist train bombing vs 3 US people stuck on a mountain.
I think it's more to do with one being domestic, and one being foreign.

Of course, it's front page on the BBC :p

Let's see:

We have one story that is in the US, is ongoing, and will get viewers constantly refreshing.
Or we have one story that happened on another continent with a limited amount of information being released.

News is a business. How does this suprise you?

Well if the white people are still alive, then there's hope for their survival. However, I assume the 66 are already dead, making it somewhat of a moot point.

What about the others that went through the trauma?

It is thought three-quarters of the 750 people on the train were Pakistanis, as were most of the dead.
