Depends on where you live. If one is local then that one will probably get headlines.

I think he's commenting on how sites like CNN are showing the 3 climbers stuck as their main news story where the train explosion is getting limited coverage.

Personally, I could care less which one I see with the huge picture on CNN.
 
This thread is slightly biased, it's more like 66 foreigners hit by a terrorist train bombing vs 3 US people stuck on a mountain.
I think it's more to do with one being domestic, and one being foreign.

Of course, it's front page on the BBC 😛

We have one story that is in the US, is ongoing, and will get viewers constantly refreshing.
Or we have one story that happened on another continent with a limited amount of information being released.

nothing surprising. and its definitely not limited news...bbc seems to be on top of it.

What about the others that went through the trauma?

It is thought three-quarters of the 750 people on the train were Pakistanis, as were most of the dead.
