With all the recent events concerning DMCowen and the reaction of the community in general, I have more or less tried to observe the reactions of everyone. Some emotional, some mixed, some rational and well thought out, and while others I will not comment on.

I like to say I think it is important that we remember why we all got into distributed computing in the first place, and that we should keep that it mind. Let us not react with out first thinking on what our next course of action is. Emotion is a good thing, but letting it be your sole decision maker can leave you or someone else with a black eye.
