he's given me a lot of chainsaw tips. Generally, Carl's theory is that no matter what it is that I'm doing (like sharpening the chain, making a cut, breathing, etc.), I'm doing it wrong.

Don't get me wrong - in spite of his contrary nature he's a great guy. I have a huge amount of admiration for him.

Ned, I know other people with your writing style. Most of them have a monthly column in some sort of magazine. Seriously. Get published.
 
Raconteur: 1) A person who tells anecdotes in a skillful and amusing way. 2) A person who excels in telling anecdotes.
 
I seriously think NNs stories are worth publishing. They're interesting, and engaging, and you don't need to invest a lot of time. They're good for a quick bit of entertainment when you have a couple minutes. I'd give serious thought to an Ebook only release. I like Ebooks due to ease of use, and not having to deal with a publisher and other crap. It's also cheap, so there's no risk.

Oh yeah. I'd buy that as an eBook in a heartbeat!
