Does anyone use this software, or actually work for this company?

I'm having a real hard time importing data into the application's database.

First off, the database used is apparently a homebrew that this company developed. In other words, I don't have the benefit of any administrative tools (like EM or Query Analyzer) to actually view or correct the raw data.

Secondly, the only way to get data into this database is manual entry, or to use an import process that is built into the software. I have the import process mostly working (in spite of their sparse, uninformative instructions), but I?m getting a data error after the import takes place.

I?ve tried contacting their support people a couple of times, but frankly they haven?t been any help. The one guy I actually talked to acted real surprised to actually be fielding a call.

I know this is a crapshoot, but maybe, just maybe someone here has been down this road and can help?

I have worked with COBRA EAS and other applications from BPSC for over 10 years - never had any experience similar to what you described. I use the import functions every day and have found them to be simple and complete. When I call for service the call has always been returned, usually within the hour and the representative has always been very well trained and helpful. You must be mistaken!
