I recently upgraded to a 19" display and have become more aware of the fact that there seems to be something a little weird about the choices available for standard desktop resolutions. Why are there no available resolutions between 1280x1024 & 1600x1200? In all other ranges there seems to more a more gradual stepping--why the big jump from 1280x1024? Let's hear your input--this question is more of a curiousity than anything else.
