It blew apart a valve on a hot water pipe. Here's some pics of it, but they don't do it justice. My lense fogged up so you can't see the water spraying EVERYWHERE inside. It was hitting the ceiling. In the picture of the window look close and you can see the water running down it.

I know the guy who did this one. He fiddled with a valve on the pipe because water wasn't going into his washer. Water started going in but was spraying a bit so he tied a sock to it. As he walked to the soda machine in back he heard a PINK! FFFFFFFFFFFSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHH!!! as the valve shot the knob off. He was then trapped in the back of the room by scalding hot water. He used a piece of cardboard as a sheild and made a break for it.
