NVIDIA WILL REVEAL a new member of G80 product family in May, with hacks being flown to the USA for a traditional Editor's Day.

Due to our refusal to sign NDA's - especially those non-product-based, general corporate ones - and insisting on Gentlemans' Agreement policy, we are of course not invited. And we do not mind.

It is up to Nvidia's bunny team to decide which statement is right: "The INQUIRER does not make for our sales because of your target demographic." Or "Why did you run the 'G84/86 delayed' story? Our sales guys are crying that the story ruins our sales." These statements were split by a five minute gap, issuing from the very same gullet.

Anyway, enough of the rant, here is a picture of a product which will be hitting the review sites very soon, with retail availability at the same time as Radeon HD2900XT's arrival.

If these retail for $650 and drive down GTX prices, it would be nice.
But since they are rumored to carry a $999 price tag I suspect anyone is really looking forward for this at all.

I think I want one... not because I need it, but because I am bored with all my hardware and just want to play with something new. Or maybe I should just sli some 8800gts cards.

All depends on how much these ultras cost.

If it's O/Cing at 700+ on the core then it can be a nice choice for 600-650$. If it's just a cherry picked 8800GTX that can barely touch 680-700 on core and comes with an insane price tag then I don't see the point if you have a 8800GTX already.. My 8800GTX can do 650/1160 for 24/7 easily..

It might be faster but I'm not touching that thing if it costs $999.
