A petit déjeuner

How many of you eat lunch during the day? I almost never eat lunch, usually I just get a drink or mooch off people's food. Maybe I should start a poll. Also, what are the nutritional detriments associated with eating 1 meal a day?

<< Isn't that breakfast? >>

That would be lunch, sir. I might be wrong, seeing as i am a.) not french, b.) not canadian, and c.) lack general knowledge of french. But i was told a petit dejuner was lunch =\

No benefits to one meal. If you have to have one meal though, make it a delicacy. Try gorilla breast. Taste just like chicken.

<< well maybe dejuner is lunch and petit is breakfast? Man what a FAGGY language french is. >>

Tell that to Quebec...

In general, my meal situation is like a lion's. Lions go for like a week or longer without eating, then they catch something, kill it, and stuff themselves so full that they can't do anything except sleep all day in the sun digesting it.

I tend to eat only one or two meals a day, but when I do eat, it's such a huge meal that my stomach is completely full and I get really sleepy. Seriously, I eat meals that are like twice the size of a normal meal.

petit déjeuner = breakfast
déjeuner = lunch

i try and always each lunch... and breakfast most of the time 🙂

You sir, are correct (this is going off the 1 semester of French I took in high school 🙂

C'est toi qui est trop niaiseux pour comprendre, ou trop paresseux pour apprendre...

In France, petit déjeûner is breakfast, déjeûner is lunch, and dîner is supper.

In Quebec, déjeûner is breakfast, dîner is lunch, and souper is supper.

Probably too hard to understand for some of you...

Just like in some parts of the south, "breakfast" is breakfast, "dinner" is lunch, and "supper" is dinner?
