Wow this is interesting. Today's 'ban the parody' thread starters was a repost of many threads on the same subject. Some of those threads had parodies (this August 2003 link for example). So this is a repost of a parody of the reposted ban the parody threads. It is mind boggling to think about the intertwined parody/repost web we have here.

It would take somebody like crocodile hunter Stever Irwin to keep all the nef species straight.

<Steve Irwin voice>Crikey! Here we have a gorgeous specimen of the Parodius repostus var. parodius. These amazing creatures have razor sharp claws and could easily take my head clean off. So what I'm gonna do, is take my thumb, and jam it right up it's butthole! That oughta get it good and pissed off. I'm jamming my thumb up it's butthole now. It's getting pissed off! It's getting pissed off alright!

That could have gotten ugly, but I escaped with just a few bumps and bruises, and a shattered left testicle. Next week we're going to search for more beautiful animals that we can learn from by pissing them off emensely. So long now!</Steve Irwin voice>

Well, 99% of everything is a repost... How many "original" ideas are left to discuss. Heck, any thread with a link is technically a repost.

The above has likely been posted in response to "repost" and itself is a repost. Given that, what's the point in noting if a post is a repost or not...?
