A-Open CRW1232 wrong firware loaded..................help!!!!

I upgraded my firmware on my A-Open CRW1232 writer with the CRW1232PRO firmware. I have tried to flash the old firmware again but I keep on getting a checksum error. Ner 5.0 doesn't recognize my drive anymore and so I can't burn any cd's. Does anybody know how I can safely undo this error.
