- Intel Core i5 9th Gen 9400F (2.90GHz) ($150 on sale)
- NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 6GB ($220 list)
- 8GB DDR4 ($30 on sale)
- 1TB SSD (under $100 for a budget one, $150 for a name-brand one)
- Gaming Keyboard & Mouse ($30 or so)
- Windows 10 Home 64-bit ($80-100 if you bought it retail, $10-20 for an email key on "certain" sites.)
- VR Ready
Not exactly super high-end, but a decent mid-range, 1080P Med. 60FPS+ gaming PC.
Looks pretty sexy to me!
Edit: This is for all of you out there with jobs and kids, that want gaming PCs, and you don't want to hassle with pickking out parts, waiting for sales, and putting the whole thing together and installing and trouble-shooting the build(s). You could probably build one for the same price, or possibly less, if you value your time at nothing.
Edit: And if you're wondering, "ABS" is one of Newegg's house brands. Another good value-for-money gaming PC builder is Microcenter, their PowerSpec PCs are pretty decent, and made from standard components, usually.
Edit: In another thread, they mention that if you use Intel's XTU overclocking utility, you can "lock" the i5-9400F at 4.1Ghz, all-core, if you have adequate cooling. (If this PC includes the stock heatsink, the answer to that would be NO. You would need to add a Hyper 212 EVO for another $20-30, and upgrade the cooling.)
Edit: Might want to pick up a 16GB kit of RAM for $60-70 or so, too.
