So, if you look in my sig you will see that my Opty rig isn't running yet, and probably wont for another week. Now, this was suppose to be working on/around Christmas. I was hoping to build it on Christmas vacation, but my motherboard has yet to even ship.
I ordered my motherboard from here.
Hey, it was the cheapest place I could find, so I took a shot in the dark and ordered it from there. I then ordered the A8n32-SLI Deluxe Motherboard (yup, top of the line there). Understandibly it was out of stock, I really didn't care as every place had it out of stock. So around 12/29/05ish or a day earlier, on their site it says "limited quantities avalible". So I'm all happy saying it'll ship that thurs. or fri. and I'll get it buy today so i can start building it. Never got an e-mail with UPS tracking #, so I check order status online and it says "autherized". "your packages will be shipped very soon (within 48 hours)".
Well, what I want to know is why couldn't they have shipped it last thursday or friday? Or why not ship it on tuesday (yesterday) as they had it in stock!? It still has yet to ship? I don't really know when that "autherized" stauts appeared, but hopefully it'll ship tommorow and I might just get it BY NEXT FVCK'N MONDAY!!! (it has been in stock since 12/29 let me remind you).
There tech support is informative and told me when the shipment of motherboards might arrive to them (and he was right). I'm just pissed off they couldn't ship it any sooner. I can't stand gaming on my 9800 card (especally FEAR), and crappy slow 1gb ram ad XP2800+. I also need the new computer for video encoding! And can't really encode anything on my old Athlon XP.
So for all the people who were asking "when will the Opty rig be built?", well now you have your answer, when ever the fvck'n motherboard gets here.
