i really don like many of the notebooks on the market, as they are either overprices or have nothing of value. I was wondering if there is any way to build your own notebook, like buying a case with the monitor, and getting a notebook motherboard... they sell notebook processors, hard drives, and ram, so it doesn't seem like i need anything except a case and a motherboard... maibe a battery and a power adapter...

so is there any way???

While it will be EXTREMELY hard to build your own, you can buy a barebone that contains the case, motherboard, etc. You can then add stuff like a processor and gpu.

The easiest and most customization you can currently do is thru dell's website!

Uh . . . . no.

Voodoo, Hypersonic, and even (ugh) Alienware all allow more customization than Dell.

I sincerely hope you are being sarcastic.

Of just the 4 u mentioned the Dell has the best pricing. There are many custom places on the net Here is one. Depending on your pricing and what you want, yes you can go Voodoo or somebody like that but why pay for a paint job?
