one: how long does one need to wait before a bump?

two: the link for a webpage in my profile is prefixed with anandtechs url, is that common?

Do you mean bumping in FS/T? I think it's 3-4 times per day (Looks like 4x day, per the rules).
  • No excessive bumping of your own thread. No more than once every 6 hours.
As for your link if you enter the entire URL including http:// it will go through properly.
