a nice less the $50 video card

A friend of mine has some money issue, we are building him a computer out of spare parts have have come out of other computers, and is only buying what he absolute nessary to make it run. but I am we are looking for a video card that is less than $50 and has aleast 32MB of RAM on if so we can play BattleField.

MotherBoard - Abit TH7-RAID Motherboard - Socket 423 Intel 850 Chipset
CPU - 1.3 Ghz
RAM - 256MB RDRAM running at 600Mhz
Video - as of right now some 16MB one, want new one
Sound - Sound Blaster 16 PCI
HDD - 18GB SCSI
LAN - got one
Wondows 98

But for battlefield 1942 you'll need a much better card and much more than 256megs of ram.

BattleField will run with 256MB of RAM it wont run the best but it will run

used geforce 3 from FS/FT forum, about $50 and 2-3 times as fast as anything you can buy new for under $75.

I never said it wouldnt run,I just said it wouldnt run nicely,will be very choppy.

I seen personaly BF1942 take as much as 760 megs of ram while playing,good thing I have 1 gig.😉
