A nice insult from Chase

I got new two credit cards yesterday and today.

Citi diamond preferred reward card
credit line = 3,300

Chase rewards
credit line = 300

WTH! they give me 5,000 for the chase sony card last year. This is the lowest credit line I have been granted.

now you mention it, my first card was Chase Universal card with 700 credit line.

My first was a Capital One with $300. O what a crappy card to have!
Next up were Citi's and I merged the 2 cards into a platinum select with a 3k limit which is now at $5400 or something.

Now I know more about credit cards I won't be suckered into getting a crappy one. How I wish I never accepted that Capital One card.

What was wrong with the Capital One? I also got my first card from them last year with a $300 limit, then raised to $500 and then raised to $800. I still use it for my daily purchases and have never had a problem with them.

When I first turned 18 I got a Capital One and they started me with a $300 limit. After a year and a half they increased it to $800 automatically though. I've also got an MBNA card that I started out at $2500. I'm at $3000 now but I still use my Capital One when I can because it only has 8.9% interest. My MBNA card is 11.9.

my first capital one was for $500. now it is many times that figure, and i have another card that is also many times that figure. i wouldn't bother with a card that had less than $3K-$4K. Hell, I top $300 sometimes just on basic bills, gas, and car maintenence.

If you already have a Chase card they let you move your credit line among diff cards so pull a couple thousand from the Sony card.

Chase always gave me sh!t too. I applied, and got two cards at once. Chase was 300 dollars, and citi gave me like 3300. Chase sucks donkey balls. Citi + Amex FTW.

I have a card with $12,000 available to me. I could never afford to use it; but getting credit is easy if you pay all your bills on time.

Wow. The lowest credit card limit I ever got was $1,000, and that was over 10 years ago when I was making 5 grand a year stocking veggies part-time.

Respect me.

Mine is better than my parents. By a lot. You both must respect me.

Why'd you get Diamond Preferred instead of Platinum Select?

for the 10k TY points. I will be replacing my dividend card with the diamond preferred. I like the TY points more than cashback
