A nice happy snapper for 69$

I just picked up a Canon Powershot a470 for the girlfriend (for Christmas, it's still unopened) from Sears for $72 (on clearance) - would I be better off returning it and grabbing that Sanyo (memory cards aren't an issue, I practically have a box full of 2-8 gig cards at home)?

My last few cameras have been Canon's, and I've never been disappointed, but I'd be willing to try new things.
