A newbie server question

I am trying to learn how to start a BF1942 server, and I was given a login and a pass. I was given info for an ssh1 login.


Now, how would I do this? Do I have to download a program?

ssh 1 is obsolete and insecure, don't use it. As for the rest of the post, I don't even understand the question. How would you do *what*?

I think the best thing to do is go find a BF1942 forum that is more geared towards this exact thing.

actually, this is pretty easy. all i need to know is how to upload/transfer files onto there. how would I do this? or maybe I can get a list of commands?
