A newbie question...What is the slowest AMD that will support 266 DDR?

I'm going to build a second computer for my wife and don't want to spend the $2,000 it took to get mine together. What is the slowest AMD chip that will still support the 266 DDR memory?

1 ghz chips i think are the lowest speed. If you mean the new c type cpu's

the 1ghz cpu is the slowest to support the 266mhz fsb. since there is the original 200mhz fsb chip as well as the newer one, make sure buy the right one.
