Sweet. Spyro was one of my favorite platformers on the PS1 (was there a PS2 version?). Now they're brining it into the now with a new PS3 game! :D This will be awesome.

It's scheduled to release in October, and expect to see it at the GDC!

apparently, it's also coming to Wii, PS3, PS2 and DS.

I hope the PS3 version looks and feels like a PS3 release, and not a Wii/PS2 port. Hope the native development was PS3.

do you have a better source than ebgames link? that is very unreliable. it even says the wii one is in stock heh.

spyro kicked major ass on psx. i just hope this game doesnt require six axis controls.

No credible source other than the likes of Gamestop/EB Games. But they are officially taking pre-orders, and pre-orders don't begin until they receive the word from the publisher, correct? I was under the impression they will add games to the database, with industry rumored release dates... but you can't pre-order until it's official the game is in development, right? That's the impression I've had. That, and the GameStop company seems pretty accurate as to what games are in development.

My local gamestop still has SC: Ghost boxes up on the wall for pre-order, but thoughs guys as just assholes :p

Yes, gaming companies usually don't make up a game. They are probably at least some effort towards some new Spyro title...maybe.
