A new projector...?

My dad just asked me to look for a projector for his office... what are some features i should look for? what's good, what's bad...? what is the polisilicon .7" or .9" lcd thing about? difference between xga, svga, sxga, uxga...? price range is up to around 2500 or so... thanks for any help

epson has a pretty decent one for 1699 i think it is the powerlite 61g.
for under 2500 you'll prob be looking at the epson, infocus, and i think sony has a low end model.

hey,im actually looking to sell my projector, i have a hitachi cpx980
2300 lumens, top of the line, stats can be found here:

$11,000. looking to get $3,400, need to sell asap, bulb has 104 hours on it out of the 2000, This is top of the line hitachi.
