Good day everyone, I bought a PC according to your suggestions last time and I love it. So here I am again, looking for a new computer and your suggestions for it. Here you go
1. My PC will be used for graphic designing software s like Abode Photoshop, illustrator, lightroom and Corel draw. Occasional Maya.
2. My budget is 1500$-1700$
3. I will be buying parts in India
4. online through Amazon, new egg and alibaba.
5. No specification on brands
6. I wont be using any of the current parts
7. Default speeds
8. Pretty high res projects. Sometimes till 2K
9. Will be building immediately.
10. I need not buy any software

i'm still looking for info on this, i wanted to recommend a Threadripper (since the apps you use will love that multithreading) but the prices for threadripper on pcpartpicker india are INSANE.

will you be needing a professional GPU (stuff with double precision) or just a consumer GPU ?

Dell 7000 series or Alienware Aurora will best suit your requirements
hello and welcome to the AT forums.

as you can see from the OP's first post, he's looking to "buy parts", to build himself a desktop. he does not want a laptop.

as you can see, also the OP works in graphic design / animation / generally speaking, rendering. he does not need a laptop.

i'm sure you got many useful recommendations and i look forward to your continued input. Thank You !

Thank you all for all the suggestions, I shall go through all of your valuable recommendations carefullyl.

this would be for a professional use. So looking at things that are reliable in performance above consumer level usage.

Warms Regards

Is your workload more cpu intensive or gpu intensive or a mixture of both? Will you be doing any gaming on the machine in your off time, or is this strictly for work?

Thread rippers pricing is outrageous over there currently. What are your current specs and how well is your current machine doing? I do a lot of the same tasks as you and my 8700k, gtx 1080 build is handling it extremely well.

More cores would probably suit you, but it's also going to run you more and if you aren't reusing any parts at all, like a case or drives, things can get extremely expensive really quick.

Honestly, no gaming at all. It's strictly for work.
Purely design intensive, I could not tell you whether it's a CPU or GPU intensive ?
But the current ones is a very normal one, not a specially built for the purpose, hence seeking your opinion for the same.
