A New Forum Category to Add perhaps?

Hello,

I noticed that the Macintosh have made an appearance on Anandtech with a new section... well, since this is a site dedicated to the latest technology... why not add a Mac Category in the forums?

I also recently myself decided to try out a Mac just to see if I like it or not, and so far I am impressed with it... mind you it is not a brand spanking new Dual G5 system like Anand Lal Shimpi did in his Macintosh article here but I am testing out Mac OS X 10.3 on a Powerbook G3.

I think it would be interesting and insightful, and I have noticed a few people going both Mac and Microsoft, so it would be a benefit.

I dunno, It didn't happen when they started reviewing cameras...so I doubt macs will make it either.

I think it would be a great place with all of these knowledgable PC people already here, it would be one of the best places to get help with a PC (both IBM/Clone or Macintosh Computers).

No real reason to, everything mac falls into the same categories as everything PC. Forums are setup for general purpose. Too many forums can get cluttered.

Why would a separate Mac forum be needed? There's nothing about a Mac that couldn't be appropriately posted in one of the existing forums.

Mac OS X question? Try the OS forum.
Mac OS X software question? Try the software forum.
Your little notebook giving you problems? Try SFF/Notebook, GH, or Troubleshooting.
The program you're trying to make for Mac OS X not working? Try the programming- er, I guess we don;t have one of those still...

No need for a new forum, it wouldn't make sense. 🙂

Theres absolutly no reason not to after all the more the better right?
Great idea send an email to some web editor sometime try it🙂

In the case of forums, more != better.
