A new big monitor? Suggestions

I was on here couple months back getting recommendations for a new computer and I was very happy with all the help everyone gave me. I ended up purchasing a very nice high-end computer that's doing really well. But recently I've been debating about getting a bigger monitor. I'm not sure the exact size of my current monitor. I think it's something like 20 inches, it's a flat screen. It's a Samsung. I'm trying to remember if my signature on here has my specs or not. Anyway it's nice but bigger is always better as you know.

So I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a big monitor. A big flatscreen something that's very good for gaming and just overall use. Though I'm trying to look at something that's not overly expensive. If that's possible. Any suggestions or advice are welcome. Thank you

From my own personal experience, if you are sitting in front of your computer for quite a long time then you should not get one larger than 27" diagonal.

This will fill your field of vision without an irritating overhang.

I find 24" just about the maximal size where I still don't have to turn my head to see what's near the edges. Unless you are sitting behind really big table, I wouldn't suggest 27".
