Anyone have these certs? i want some icing on my resume and am wondering which ones to take.

Are all 3 permanant?


Are all 3 fairly easy...as not in cisco or MCSE?
 
I got my A+ a couple years ago. Hasn't helped me much thus far. I am currently reading soem books for the Net+, but not sure if I will actually take the test.

To my knowledge CompTIA certs are good for life, but what do I know.


I can tell you for sure though that most people will say that certs are nice on the resume and can often get your foot int he door, but if you don't have the knowledge to back it up, then they are a waste. I am not saying you don't have the knowledge, thats for you to decide. I am just giving you my opinion. Good luck

I once thought certifications would be cool, so I started with the basics and got my A+. Then I realized that it really didn't matter much, especially since there are so many "paper" or "braindump" certified people running around, so I didn't bother with them anymore.
